Wittenberg (formerly Stal Amani) offers the very best facilities for both Horse and Rider and has a marvellous selection of jumping and dressage horses from Novice to Grand Prix available for sale. We have three international riders based at the stables who all ride for their respective countries and offer lessons in jumping and dressage.
Located in Belgium but just 30 minutes from the borders of Holland and Germany, Wittenberg is the perfect base from which to compete at all the major horse competitions in Europe.
The horse riding stables themselves are a horse’s paradise situated in an indoor barn with outside windows overlooking the International dressage arena, complete with hot and cold wash stalls and 2 solariums. There is a choice of three arena’s to ride on, all with fantastic riding surfaces which are ideal for both dressage and show jumping competition preparation and practise. During the summer there is always a full course of jumps set up and a 20 x 60 m dressage arena, both of which are available to hire.
The riding centre is surrounded by forest and is very secluded, but only 5 minutes away from the nearest city (Herentals). There is also 26 kms of sandy trails to ride on through the forest.
Wittenberg also offers temporary or permanent fully serviced stabling facilities for Equestrian Riders who are competing in different countries and need a place to stop over for their horses and grooms. We have hosted many famous International horses and riders over the years including the Whittakers, Nick skeleton and members of the Portugese, Spanish and Australian teams just to mention a few.
Wittenberg hosts both Dressage and Jumping competitions and the facilities are available for competition Organisers to hire to hold their own horse events and seminars.
Our shop sells a selection of good quality products for both Horse and Rider at very competitive prices and if you are not in the area you can shop online and we will send the items out to you.
Finally we have a very comfortable bar with two beautiful terraces where you can relax have a drink and something to eat. If you are looking for a venue to hold a private party, then look no further. We have the space to accommodate both small and large parties including an area where a marquis can be erected.
Whether you ride competitively, just for pleasure or even if you do not ride Wittenberg offers a beautiful centre with a variety of facilities to suit most people.
